How to Cook Adamchini Rice
Perfect cooking methods for fluffy, aromatic Adamchini rice. Choose between open pot or closed pan method.
Step 1: Wash and Soak
Wash the rice properly and soak it in water for 20 to 30 mins and then drain the water.
Open Pot Method
Perfect for fluffy, separate grains.
Measure: 5 cups of water to 1 cup of rice
- Bring the water to a rolling boil
- Add rice and lower to a medium boil
- Cook uncovered for 8-10 mins
- Drain the water thoroughly
- Let it rest for 5 mins
Closed Pan Method
Ideal for convenient one-pot cooking.
Measure: 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice
- Add rice and bring water to boil
- Cover and simmer for 10 mins
- Cook till rice is done to your desired doneness
- Turn off heat
- Allow the rice to rest covered for 5 mins
